Oman Foods International SAOG [Formerly known as National Rice Mills SAOG] is a Public Joint Stock Company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company was established in the year 1996 with the initiative of Government of Oman and with the support of bankers and private sector companies.

The authorized share capital of the Company is RO 8.5 Million comprising of 8.5 million ordinary shares of RO1 each. The issued and fully paid up share capital of the Company as at 31st March 2008 is RO 6,200,721 comprising of 6,200,721 ordinary shares of RO.1 each. 

The Company has state-of-the art processing unit established in Rusayl Industrial Estate.  The plant is capable of processing the brown rice in to super silky polished rice.    At present OFI sells processed rice under its own brand names as well as under the brand name of its Customers. Thamer, Basmah, Asila, Al Watani  etc. are the some of the popular brands, to name a few.  The Company provides marketing support for its own brands within the Sultanate and other export markets.   Overseas operations; We also have export operations and have exported our brands of rice to Sudan, Jordan etc. Recently, the Company, in collaboration with the Public Authority of Stores and Foods Reserves have commenced operations of branches / depots throughout the Sultanate of Oman and are supporting the public with the supply of rice and essential commodities.
